Description: Rare immigrant in the Netherlands. According to www.vlindernet.nl, this species has only been recorded a few times since 1980 in the Netherlands. Closely resembles Autographa gamma. This species, however, is more greyish in tone, has more yellowish hindwings and can be told apart by looking at the white marks on the forewing. The photographed specimen (female) was taken 6th of august, 2006. A second specimen (male) was recorded a day later in the same spot.
Foodplants: Heather (Calluna) and bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus).
